After a slow recovery from the 1997 crisis, the South East Asian region goes on chasing a fast economic growth and with an expected more than 6% growth rate; this area is awarded as the most interesting area in the world economy.
This economic growth is boosted by the objectives set by the ASEAN (Association of South East Asia Nations): regional integration, economic and social progress and cultural development of the whole region up to the considerable reduction of the trade barriers within the year 2015.
ASEAN includes ten countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
